What We Do

Finding someone to care for your dog while you’re away can feel stressful. Camp FnF offers small-dog boarding and daycare with hands-on supervision, clear expectations, and thoughtful structure built into each day. Dogs aren’t left to figure things out on their own. They are guided through play, outdoor time, rest, and group interactions so the environment stays calm and enjoyable.

Dogs here move through the day with clear boundaries and gentle guidance. They learn how to settle, share space, and move comfortably with the group, while still having time to play, explore, and rest. Boundaries are part of what makes camp feel calm and safe, allowing dogs to relax and enjoy their time instead of managing everything on their own.

The goal is simple: for dogs to feel secure, engaged, and cared for, and for their people to leave them here with ease and trust, knowing they are safe, supported, and genuinely enjoying their day.

How Camp Works

Camp FnF runs on clear routines, consistent expectations, and active human guidance throughout the day. Dogs are introduced thoughtfully, guided through threshold boundaries, and move through shared spaces with intention so the environment stays calm and predictable.

Structured rest times are built into the day to prevent overstimulation and allow dogs to decompress. All dogs are prioritized in learning how to comfortably coexist alongside others. Play and social interaction may happen naturally, but they are never the requirement or the focus.

Human advocacy is central to how camp operates. Interactions are closely supervised step in to guide or correct when needed, rather than leaving dogs to manage situations on their own. This creates a balanced environment where dogs can relax, participate at their own pace, and move through the day with clarity and ease.

Camp FnF prioritizes consistency with what dogs are already learning at home. If a dog comes to camp with existing routines, cues, or equipment, those are respected and maintained so expectations stay clear and familiar.

The goal is continuity, not change, so dogs don’t have to navigate conflicting guidance between home and camp.

A Day at Camp

Each day at Camp FnF follows a familiar rhythm so dogs know what to expect and can settle in comfortably.

A typical day includes:

  • Structured dog introductions and time to acclimate

  • Supervised group time with familiar friends

  • Outdoor time, such as yard play, walks, or puppy pool days

  • Enrichment woven naturally into the day, including themed activities or field trips when appropriate

  • Rest and downtime to decompress

Activities vary day to day based on weather, energy levels, and the group, but the overall structure stays consistent so dogs feel secure while still having fun.

Camp Requirements

Camp FnF is designed to accommodate a wide range of small dogs, including dogs who are neutral, selective, or prefer space. Camp is not limited to highly social or playful dogs. Schedules and routines can be adjusted as needed to support each dog’s comfort and success.

Before joining Camp FnF, the following requirements apply:

  • Up-to-date vaccinations and parasite prevention

  • A trial day is required prior to longer stays

  • Dogs must be comfortable resting in a crate when needed, even if they are not fully crate trained

  • Owners must be open to structure, boundaries, and human-guided routines

  • Camp is not a fit for households that require their dog to be the only dog present

This ensures camp remains calm, safe, and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Friends, Not Crowds

Dogs at Camp FnF spend their time with a consistent group of familiar faces rather than rotating through large numbers of new dogs. Over time, they get to know each other, build comfort, and form real friendships.

For many dogs, camp is the first place they’ve had the chance to interact with other dogs in a calm, guided environment. Watching them recognize their friends and reunite when they return feels a lot like summer camp, and it’s one of the things that makes Camp FnF special.
